Our Hearts are with Maui

We are truly devasted and heartbroken for everyone on Maui who has been impacted by the recent events. Flames have destroyed hundreds of homes, displaced families, and caused so much damage. Let's do what we can to reach out and provide any support possible. Thank you to the Oahu Wedding Association for compiling this list of organizations coordinating fundraising for Maui.

If you are wondering how you can help, donate, or volunteer, here are some resources where you can ensure your contributions are directly helping the Maui community:

Kākoʻo Maui Fund - The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, Alakaina Foundation Family, and Kākoʻo Haleakala will match up to $1,000,000 in donations for Kākoʻo Maui.

Maui Strong Fund started by The Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, to support residents affected by the wildfires, which firefighting crews continue to battle on Maui.

Maui United Way is accepting donations to its Maui Fire and Disaster Relief fund.

The American Red Cross is setting up shelters in Maui and urgently needs volunteers. You can support the Hawaiʻi Red Cross by donating or volunteering here. People trying to locate loved ones who may be impacted by the fires can call the American Red Cross hotline at 1-800-733-2767.

The Salvation Army in Hawaii is mass feeding thousands affected by the fires.

The Maui Food Bank is accepting both physical drop-off donations at various locations across Maui as well as online monetary donations on its website.

Maui Humane Society says its animals are safe but needs to free up space to take in more displaced pets.
