In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.

The Maile lei when I took it to the airport for inspection leaves were falling out as soon as they took it out of the bag. It wasn’t as full as the last time I ordered back on October 30, 2024 ---- Florist's Response: Aloha, Linda! So sorry about that!! Yes, sometimes the Maile Lei can vary in thickness based on the weather conditions on the Big Island, but, it should not fall apart. So sorry about that, but, we’re happy to provide a 50% refund for you on your order. Brian from our team will take care of that in the morning. Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know, we’re always grateful for feedback. Watanabe Florist was quick to respond to my review to make it right! Mahalo!

Ordering and pickup were so easy. The lei was beautiful and as expected, and its fragrance was so wonderful and refreshing. The leaves did have quite a bit of brown and white residue (dirt? sap?) on them however. I should have checked the lei before giving it to the groom, but everything before the ceremony was so hectic. It was only mid-ceremony that I first noticed the dirt/residue when one of the leaves near the groom’s pocket square caught my attention. The amount of white residue had us wondering if a bird had pooped on his lei. It was easy to edit out in photos though, and luckily the reception venue lighting was dark and moody so any imperfections were easy to hide. We’ll always remember it as a funny memory from the wedding, but it certainly taught me to always give a lei a once-over before giving it to the recipient in the future. ---- Florist's Response: Aloha e, Fiona! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. With the Maile, sometimes there is residue from when they are picked on the big island and although they are washed and cleaned, sometimes, they can resurface. Sounds like that is what happened here, so sorry!! Glad you were able to edit things out, but that really shouldn't have happened! We're going to provide a 50% refund on the Maile for you. Congratulations on your special day!!
